Sunday now just past 1:30 pm.
We had a very relaxing time in Chartres. Went to service at cathedral which was entirely full of people. Special service, we believe, of children making their first communion. Wonderful female vocalist. Voice reverbiated the giant space.
Had Italian dinner. pizza and lasgna . Barb and I had wine. Mady and Tara had oramnge vodka drink.
Train ride back was totally uneventful. Wow. That was ok by some but disappointing, possibly, by others.
Rainy day here. Some may go to a free organ concert at 5:00pm in the American Church on the Seine River.
Shopping, random sightseeing tomorrow. Versailles is scheduled for Tuesday. Then we head to the airport early Wednesday morning.

glad to hear there are some "uneventful" times, too! wow- it seems like the trip is almost over: that seemed to go fast! enjoy the last few days- love you!
Ever heard that expression? How does it go.... Oh yeah, "there is no such thing as a free organ concert." OK, I'm re-reading now. I might have not gotten that quite right. Nevertheless, it sounds better than an expensive nap at the Opera and you can leave early without that sinking feeling of having wasted your hard earned Euros.
Am enjoying your reports. Look forward to the details when you get home. Computer up and running. Thanks to Gil and Benson.
